Demo is out. Impressions?

It felt like more like forza, which is better, but the crashes...are like forza. Which isnt too impressive. I wish they resembled the damage in Dirt.

I played the Demo last night. It's cool. I hope they kept the free roaming options. The racing events seem cool. So far I still think underground 2 is still the best.

Nope. No free-roam.

This is a more legit style NFS. All legal racing here.

Gosh no free roaming? Gosh what's up with EA. They always leaving something out. after need for speed underground 2 they left out some type if game play.
Need for speed : most wanted left out difting. they cut out a lot custom features ( like puting limbo doors and a the spray in the trunk)
Need for speed : carbon left out Draging racing. They said "no one care about drag racing anymore" they cut out a lot custom features in this one too.
now Need for speed : pro-street left out free-roaming. What if i dont want to race. what if I want just drive around in the game? or get chased by the cops.
Give us the game play people want so we can play the game how we want to play it.
EA is messing up in my eyes.

GameSpot gave it a Score of
7.0
good ProStreet is a solid racing game, but it's missing most of what made the previous games in the series interesting.

The Good - Nice online options Car damage looks nice and makes totaling your ride fun Solid, albeit unspectacular racing.

The Bad- Ads, sponsored achievements, Missing much of the stuff that made the last few games fun Races start to feel the same after a while Announcers will make your ears bleed.

Still debating on wether to pick this up or not. I really like the free roam option and now that it is gone.

Hmmmm, Im on the fence on this one myself! No free roam is kinda depressing. I was hoping they'd go the the other way and expand it to include multiplayer free roam.

After having just finished playing the game I must say, try it before you buy it. Its fun for some but not for all.

If you have any questions about it, ask away. I'll answer to the best of my knowledge.

Hey does anyone remember one of the trailers for NFS pro-that had chris Rado in it and along with his time attack tC but the tC is not in the game(if they do have the tC in the game I must of missed it). Are they going have the tC for downloads later?
