Ok so anyone get a LSD yet? This whole spinning the tires thing is making me mad. And I can't even take a corner half way decent. All they do is slide... Anyways Help me out and how much did it cost to install?? I know TRD has a great LSD for like $1200. But thats alot of cash and I am not a rich man.

It wont solve all of your problems. Only tires can help that.

But for cost, expect about $500 for install.

i have lsd, it is an awesome but pricey upgrade. it won't make your handling perfect, but it will make a dramatic difference on what your throttle imput will do when driving aggressively, but you need to remember your suspension and tires must also do their parts. so upgrade your suspension and tires first, and if you have the money, then consider an lsd, maybe at the same time when you need a new clutch.

I have the LSD also. I just dont like how it feels when it's snowing really bad here. lol Like Draxcaliber said upgrade your suspension and tires

Well for snow I am in so-cal so no worries. And for who said suspension will help traction what are you talking about?? I have never had a front wheel driven car so it is all so different. Even if I put springs and sway bars I am still going to have that tire spin. Right? What else would help traction and stability?

Tire spin????? are you S/C, Turbocharged or something here? I never had a tire spin problem what so ever on mine. Are you a 5 speed or an automatic? sounds to me that you need to get more used to your car here. You said your not used to FWD cars well then maybe you should learn your car a little better before going in and talking about an LSD here. Like everyone else is saying, Suspension upgrades are what you should look at first and the tires as well. In the world of automotive performance you get what you pay for, so if you buy cheap suspension products your going to lose in the end. Somethings to consider are Tein S Tech Springs just put them on my 08 and it handles very well and I live in PA have alot of snow here and never ever ever had a problem with tire spin. And being able to handle corners yea, lowering springs and suspension work is the answer to that, when you do a good amount of suspension work it decreases and or eliminates body roll a flaw for all cars but there is my 2 cents about this topic

for the people who have the LSD. what kind do you have and how much was it? where can i find it? i want to know because i am getting my turbo kit so i need a clutch, flywheel, and LSD. hit me up and let me know.
