I have been into cars for a number of years now, well my first word was "ball" and I pointed to a car tire....yeah... messed around with old cars, ATVs, newer domestics, imports, back to domestics and am now back with imports. Now you are thinking, "great so did you subscribe to 2NR or SS..." well actually neither...my dad worked in the automotive industry for over 40 years and it kinda rubbed off (but both of those publications do have very good info). From owning a parts store, to being a mechanic on a "Super Stock" race car team, to owning a automotive brake re-lining business, to working for several prominent and major companies in the PNW. Among the various cars/ projects I have worked on with my dad, I also worked with him for 2 summers at an engine rebuilding shop in Lynnwood, WA doing various jobs from hogging the built up carbon out of heads, hot-tanking blocks, angle-cutting valves, and organizing/sorting all the stock (there was a ton!). Not to say I am in any way an expert, but I think I got a leg up on the average F&F guy...
Now I live in Everett with my wife Bethany, and we both own Scions (she has the awesome xB, I got the tC) and we are pretty active in the local community!
