It 's official after the huge success of "ALL SCION 08" we are back doing it again "ALL SCION 09" the dates will be June 19 & 20th all updates will be posted at www.scioncustoms.com the 2nd largest SCION event in the Southeastern states is back. oh you went to campbell? haha thats cool. yeah I love it. and idk, I never have time to do anything to my car. I have a lot I wantttt to do but I mean...Campbell drains your pockets anyway, and I am always busy, so idk. haha

So, I was going to alter your photo from the car show when I was setting it up on the computer... the one with you next to your car. There were so many ideas that flew through my head that I couldn't settle on one and ended up not doing it at all. I considered putting you in a pink shirt that said 'i love malibu barbie' or something. I thought you would REALLY LOVE that, but just couldn't decide... *sigh* =uD

"Club Participation"

It was excellent that we got our first Club Participation Award. We need to get about 5 or 6 more so that we can attract some Corporate Sponsorships. When a Company notices that their is a powerhouse out there ruling the show scenes in their local markets they consider club sponsorships. We need a few more wins to be able to ask for these type of sponsorships.

I just wanted to say thank you for everyone participating. There is one thing that stood out the most from this show that has not happened at other shows. During the awards Ceremony the announcer RECOGNIZED our club not only for being the largest club out there, he said we were the most organized and prepared. I spoke him afterwards and he said that all the judges were very IMPRESSED that we all turned our sheets over and listed all of our modifications to make it easier to judge.

You must remember that there ar no other Scion clubs in the Mid-Atlantic Area other than our good friends at Shocker, so the show scene is not use to seeing SCIONS. So they do not know how to judge them against other cars. The judges said that our cars looked PROFESSIONAL and not just crap thrown on them. Lets keep up the tradition we started and make our vehicles attractive to sponsors. Our club's PROFESSIONAL PHOTOGRAPHER'S Photos definently will help you market your vehicle. I would be transforming your www.itsmyscion page to look attractive to sponsors, I know I am going to work on mine this week. If you have sponsors link them to your sites, put it in your signatures, etc; Put some sponsor art ork up, etc. try to get promotional materials from sponsors to give away at shows.

Let's remember that we all have talents in the club and we need to share them, but remember people's time is not free just because they are there. Let's show some love to each other. not telling you what to do but these are the things that help a club stay tight!!! OK I am off my soapbox now.

To any sponsor viewing this Blog give these great members at SCION / Toyota CUSTOMS a chance to represent you, they are truely GREAT PEOPLE!!!!

No, I will just upgrade shocks and get either htechs or eibach. I'm pretty much done with exterior and if a deal comes up that I cannot refuse then I'll buy it, otherwise all my mod money has been spent and I need to start fixing up other things.

Yup, I scraped twice this week I must have looked stupid trying to maneuver my car outta the Subway parking lot, lol. But nothing visible from the front, only some surface scratches on the clear of the lip underneath.

There are lots of places I cannot go, and it sucks because I know I will not be able to get off the ferries. So now if I need or want to go to Seattle, I must drive the long way around which is an additional 45 min-1hour. I am thinking about switching to H-techs or Eibach...maybe even TRDs!

Hey everyone,

This is for all scion customs members and anyone interested in joining.

Here is all the details:

This show/meet is being sponsored by Two Guys Grille restaurant, rita's ice cream, and 96.1 rock. There will be discounted food for everyone attending at both places and a dj playing music for the meet. We will be in a shopping center with a roped off section to place all of our cars. This will be well advertised and hopefully I can get some local media exposure to get our cars and club noticed.

When: June 28th, 2008 from 6 PM - 9 PM

Where: Mcrimmon Corners shopping center
4149 Davis Drive
Morrisville, NC 27560

Everything is being finalized now so make sure you RSVP a spot so I can know how many people are coming for the food.

**If anyone is wondering what food, the place is like a surf beach place with burgers and cheese steaks that are amazing! They have pretty much a mix of everything and he is going to discount food and alcoholic beverages for the party however, before you get to excited he will not serve drivers past a certain point.

Let me know if you guys can come up from fayetville, Earl should be contacting everyone soon.
